Wishing you a restful Christmas and New Year
Julian Lomas
We’ve been privileged to have supported over 50 small and medium-sized charities and social enterprises through the continued challenges many have faced this year. We are proud to have played a part in helping lay the foundations to thrive as, hopefully, we emerge from the worst of the pandemic.
This year our support has shifted away from short term survival to helping many organisations plan for an uncertain future. Many have learned a great deal from the pandemic and developed new models of service delivery that will continue for years to come. It has been a privilege to work with so many dedicated and talented people doing great things in their communities. They have more than risen to the challenges of the last 2 years. We have also continued to see growth in the numbers of clients needing help with governance, including incorporations and mergers.
We know that the relentless pressure of the last 2 years continues to take its toll on people and organisations. Fatigue and poor mental health continue to be significant challenges not only for beneficiaries but for staff and volunteers as well. With Christmas approaching, everyone needs a break.
Our wish for all our clients, and everyone working so hard to sustain vital charity services and support, is that you will take a break over Christmas and New Year, spend time with those you love and recharge your batteries. The new year will bring known and unknown challenges but now is the time to rest.
We wish you a restful and enjoyable Christmas and New Year and look forward to working with you in 2022
