Trustees week: 7-11 November 2022
Trustees’ Week is a time to celebrate the achievements of over 1 million trustees across the UK. It is also a great opportunity for Trustees’ learning and development, in particular to keep abreast of the ever changing context in which charities operate and the ever changing responsibilities of Trustees.
This year the theme for Trustees’ Week is making a difference in changing times. As the environment in which charities work continues to change, Trustees face new challenges. The positive impact Trustees make is invaluable to the sector and society at large; without charities of all shapes and sizes, our communities would be far worse places to live in. We should all thanks Trustees for the time, commitment and effort they bring to charities and the communities they serve. At Almond Tree Strategic Consulting, we certainly want to thank all charity Trustees for their selfless service.
Trustees’ Week offers an important annual opportunity for Trustees to access a wealth of learning resources to help them do an even better job for the charities and communities. Throughout the week the partners who oversee Trustees’ Week will be offering a range of opportunities for Trustees to connect with each other to share experiences, and a range of events, training and guidance for Trustees to develop their skills. For example the NCVO is offering a week-long series of daily webinars for Trustees to learn more about their role and the factors that impact on them.
More details are available on the Trustees’ Week website and from Trustees’ Week partners.
